1. Which came first? Part 1, 2. just married, 3. Untitled, 4. Retro Summer III, 5. Now I Lay Me, 6. playful

hello all. i have been lying a little low this week. yesterday was my birthday, so i just wanted to take some time to think about some things.

i did end up making the pizza earlier this week. thanks for all your suggestions. i used this recipe and it was so amazing. i used 1/2 whole wheat flour, which worked out really well. my friend actually worked on the sauce, and he added a ton more garlic, chopped basil, and lots of black pepper. it was so delicious.

i also made a salad adapted from one of my favorite restaurants. it was really simple too: arugula, baked apples and gorgonzola with a little balsamic basil vinaigrette. you can also add walnuts if you want. SO good.

add a few brooklyn lager east india pale ales and you have a perfect evening. simply lovely.

have you been to heather's new shop yet? there are some beautiful pieces for sale.

i had a little extra time, so i added a few new things to my shop, including these new postcards, which i am really excited about. there are also some more notebooks and a couple of new prints.

i hope you like my favorite photos this week. they represent reflection, new beginnings, and celebrations of life. i love them all! have a wonderful weekend...be sure to eat some eggs {at least some chocolate ones}.
