i was so happy to open domino magazine this month to see lena corwin's 10 things that make me happy. she looks so cute in her coveted mociun dress. she mentions the card society and mast brothers chocolate, among other great things.

good evening. i had so much fun making the shot for inspired, i just couldn't stop. i created this alternate photo and have added the print to my shop. something about it just makes me happy.

hello again. i am excited to share heather's piece for the inspired project for september. it is always fun to see what i will see when i open her emails. she posted my first image for this month on her blog. take a look.

hello there. happy monday. i hope you all had a great weekend.

i had a really fun time photographing a beautiful wedding. i also went to brunch at tini, in red hook. it is super small, but the food is delicious and the owners are super nice. oh, and the french press coffee is amazing.

it is supposed to be an amazing weather week here, i can't wait. it was a little crazy yesterday, getting back into the high 80s. i say, fall: bring it on!

here are a few of my new obsessions for fall:

+ a mociun tie-front dress {i also hear rumors of a new collaboration with alyson fox!}.

+ some simple suede moccasins.

+ the fall collection here, especially the plaid coat and striped pullover {with cute heart pocket}.

a few other things:

i saw them loading food into this place which will be opening very soon, kind of near my house {!}, although i might be moving to a new neighborhood soon.

you must take a look at anna wolf's amazing portfolio.

i also wanted to tell you about a great little shop i forgot to mention in my austin wrap-up, called spartan. it is really sweet and they have a great selection of gifts, jewelry, and home items. it is also attached to an amazing clothing store where i wanted to buy everything called bows + arrows.

i had a great time in austin, but i am also glad to be back in brooklyn. i wanted to share some of the beautiful views and interesting vegetation from my trip. tomorrow i'll share some of my favorite shops and restaurants.
