summer evening

the weather is so nice today. warm, sunny, and breezy. i had the best dinner last night outside in the backyard. we made whole wheat linguine cooked in herb ox chicken broth tossed with olive oil. then we added steamed baby portabella mushrooms, fresh spinach, cherry tomatoes, and crumbled goat cheese and topped with fresh grated romano cheese and lots of pepper. yum. add a glass of shiraz and a nice conversation and you have a lovely summer evening. i tried to take some photos, but, my polaroids kept getting stuck in the camera again. oh well, i'm sure you can imagine it. hope you are having nice summer evenings as well.

flip flop season

the older i get, the more i realize what a creature of habit i am. lately i have been mixing up my normal routine and it has thrown me off a bit. in a good way, i guess. i feel like there are so many opportunities out there, i often bite off more than i can chew. but the good new is, i got 2 new pair of summer flip flops..2 for $5.

just a quick hello today as i am running in and out working on various projects. i could not resist buying this sweet little guy at renegade yesterday. isn't his little back side the cutest thing you have ever seen. see some of his friends here. until later this week..

lets travel to...

i am excited to announce a new project today. i am calling it "lets travel to..."

i have asked a few people from around the world to answer a little questionnaire discussing their favorite places in their town. i thought it would be fun to have them answer in their own handwritting too. so, this week we are traveling to...bergen, norway with astrid.

fresh inspiration

i have given my inspiration wire a fresh look for summer. lately i have been really inspired by neutrals and for some reason, images of hands. this little corner has some of my very favorites. see more images from my wire here.

this week has turned out to be much busier than i thought it would be {in a good way}, so i have not really had time for a real post until now.
